The local Waratahs

The Waratah is the state flower of New South Wales. The normal colour is red, but in rare parts of the country white ones can be found. Lana was able to capture photos of both in her local walk. They are growing in yards of the locals.

The flowers are quite different to anything normally seen in the US or Europe and it is no wonder it became the state emblem.
